Introduction
My name is Madison Reynolds, creator of Too Tall Media. I started this to create. To have something to show case the work that I have done and will continue to do!
I graduated from Georgia Southern's Multimedia Communications Department. Through that I have learned how to create a world that never existed. I knew what I wanted to do but I lacked confidence in my ability to follow my dream of working in the film industry. Being in this program has helped me to become confident in my potential and increased my self-assurance when speaking in front of a large number of people.
I have learned a lot throughout my time at school. I learned how to write a story in a format that is applicable for film and have learned how to direct a group of people towards a goal of creating a story. I am knowledgeable in camera operations and know the in’s and out’s of cinematography. I have learned how to creatively apply lighting to a scene that sells the mood and feeling I want the viewer to take away from the experience.
All of the things that learned at Georgia Southern have fueled my aspirations for the future. While I still have a lot more to learn in each aspect of film making, I am very eager to continue my education throughout my life.
My inspiration for what I do has come from my brothers. My brother Brantley is the one that gave me the drive I have today. To push my self further that before. My oldest brother Ryan, who made short films when he was younger, inspires me to achieve my dreams. Working on creating films has had a profound impact on my life. Like most people I didn’t know what to do until I started playing around with making short videos back in high school. Ever since then I fell in love the idea of making special effects and using Adobe After Effects to create stories and entertain everyone that watches.
Through my experiences filming short films, I discovered my interest in editing. Upon entering college, I was able to branch out a little more meeting people that truly loved film as much as I do. With that kind of passion around me, I strived to learn more about lighting and cinematography. Currently my inspiration comes from everyone like my friends, my family, and my crew.
My work drives my life forward in a positive way. Being apart of this industry, regardless if it is a good or bad day for me, makes me happy to be in this moment right here, right now.
